We are officially 10 days away from Christmas! Eep! I'm gonna make this short and sweet so I can get back to my Christmas shopping/prepping (which I'm SO behind on!). If you're in my same position I highly encourage you to make your last minute shopping LOCAL. Our Holidays Guide is packed with suggestions for finding great gifts for your kids. This is the last weekend for Holidays at the Farm. Head over with your fam and enjoy a festive environment and grab a fresh tree if you haven't already! Santa will be visiting - check their website or social media for details!

Trim the Trees: Drop in for some winter fun at Discovery Unit of Lucky Peak State Park from 4-8pm. Help us make pinecone bird feeder garland to hang around the trees and decorate your own special "tree cookie" to take home. Event will be held outside under our upper picnic pavilion, please dress for winter conditions. Bring the whole family and your own mug or thermos. Hot cocoa and craft supplies will be provided. Hot cocoa and activities are free! Park Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee is $7.00 per vehicle, waived if you have a valid Idaho State Parks Passport properly displayed on your windshield. *note: Discovery Park is exact CASH or CHECK only. We do not have card capabilities at this park unit.
Duck Donuts Holiday Party: 4-6PM - Free mini hot chocolate bar, Free donut hole samples, Free Rubber Ducks with purchase of 1/2 dozen donuts, Pictures with Ollie the Elf, Free Giveaways for Goodies & Gifts!
Free Carriage Rides: Washington Trust Bank is proud to bring free horse-drawn carriage rides back to Downtown Boise for the holiday season.

Workout for a great cause with Get Fit Meridian: Hop on the Get Fit Train and join Get Fit Meridian for a holiday workout Saturday, December 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Loose Screw Beer Co. 1511 West McMillan Road #Suite 100 Meridian, ID 83646. Workout will be about 30 minutes. Workout will include different Modalities such as dumbbells, bands, medballs, rower, assault bike, etc. Modifications provided as well as progressions. Tickets include one beverage or brew & a Full-body HIIT workout. ALL proceeds will be donated to Love Inc. Boise & Foster and Heart Meridian to bless those in need this holiday season.Wear your ugliest Christmas Sweater to be entered into a raffle drawing! RSVP HERE
YMCA Christmas Run: 'Tis the season to sparkle! Make this a December to remember with Santa, family, and friends at the YMCA Christmas Run! Create a new tradition or continue a long-standing one! Celebrate the holiday season as a family by running or walking together. We are so excited to be back in person for this treasure valley tradition. This winter celebrate with the YMCA at the Christmas Run presented by SelectHealth! Join the festivities, Santa starting the race, wear your holiday costumes, and more! Enjoy your time after you finish with a warm cup of soup from Panera Bread and a bagel from Blue Sky Bagels, awards will be announced as soon as available in the Boise High School Cafeteria. Overall winners, costume contest winners, and raffle winners receive holiday floral arrangements courtesy of Hillcrest Floral!
