Ice Skating in the Treasure Valley

Too intimidated to "hit the slopes" but looking for a fun outdoor, winter activity? How about ice skating? There are a few opportunities to try ice skating across the Treasure Valley. Check out all the details below. Note that hours and pricing might change so be sure to call before you go!

Glide on the Grove

Downtown Boise’s Grove Plaza has added a temporary ice skating rink! It is a completely free activity — including rentals! The rink will be open until the end of January, 2024. Hours vary, but on most nights, the rink is open until 8 p.m. Click here for more information.

Indian Creek

Indian Creek Plaza's ribbon is open seven days a week! Monday-Thursdays from 3-9PM, Friday and Saturdays from 12-9pm and Sundays from 12-8PM. To book a session and view prices and packages, click here.

This indoor rink offers public skating as well as figure skating and hockey opportunities. Check their calendar for hours. No registration or reservation is required.
