Visiting the Eagle, Idaho Public Library (2024)

Looking for a spot where fun and learning are colorfully intertwined? Look no further than the Eagle Public Library in Eagle, Idaho! Sitting just off State Street on N Stierman Way, blocks from downtown Eagle, it’s easy to get to and easy to fall in love with. The Eagle library has recently undergone some great transformations and offers a really special, revamped space that's perfect for families. 


Step into the library, turn left and you'll find yourself in "The Family Place Space." Located in the library's old public meeting room, this newly designed area is perfect for families featuring a welcoming atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and play. With colorful displays, tons of interactive toys, shelves and shelves of well organized children's books and more, it's a place where imaginations come to life. It's the perfect meeting place for friends, too! Kids will be busy exploring while caregivers can sit and chat or find children's books to check out!



Check out the library's events calendar for fun activities like story time sessions, kids' classes, "books before bedtime", teen time lounge and more. They're always hosting new events (for ALL ages and interests) so check back often! And don't miss their fun reading contests and challenges or their summer reading program - coming soon!


Convenient Library Services:

Enjoy services like curbside pickup and doorstep delivery for easy access to your favorite resources, perfect for busy families. There are tons of tables and chairs to sit and study, read, or work but you can also reserve study rooms. Looking for more than just books to borrow? The Eagle library has all kinds of items in their lending library like cake pans and cookie cutters, sewing machines, robotics, scrapbooking, knitting, outdoor recreation and more!


Digital Collection Materials:

Library patrons have access to a plethora of digital resources at the Eagle Public Library! E-books, audiobooks, magazines and newspapers, music, movies, homeschool resources and more


Library Cards:

Residents of Eagle can get their Eagle Public Library card for free! There are cards for those 18+ and those under 18. Plus, those with library cards from neighboring areas can still borrow books through the LYNX! Consortium (Boise Public Library, Ada Community Library, Caldwell Public Library, Garden City Public Library, Meridian Library District and more!). If you can't find what you're looking for at the Eagle Library you're able to request it through their interlibrary loan policy!
