Today marks 1️⃣ whole year since I bought the domain boisewithkids.com and officially launched this idea I had had swirling around in my head for months. I had been researching and throwing around ideas but wasn't really sure what it would become when I decided to go for it. What started as mostly a little old blog that my best friends and parents subscribed to has turned into so.much.more.
I took a little trip down memory lane recently and looked back through the website and my Instagram page and just can't believe all that's happened. I’ve put out over 300 posts on social media (and an insane amount of stories), written 115 “blog posts” on the website, curated a popular community events calendar of family friendly events in the area, worked with some of the most incredible local businesses, been featured on the local news and my greatest accomplishment of all - connecting in some way with well over 200K local families.
When I hear from someone who has used the information I've provided to create memories with their family or that it has in some way impacted their life in a positive way, my heart just bursts.
What an honor and privilege it is to do this work!
Moving into year two I am more committed than ever to providing our community with a “one-stop-shop” for information about all things Boise with kids related. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to update my website and find more and different ways to highlight everything that makes life in the area so wonderful for families. I am SO excited about the direction it’s all taking and am thrilled to have you along for the ride!
