Here's a quick roundup of some of the best family-friendly events happening across the Treasure Valley this first weekend of November! Things sure have died down now that Halloween is over! Be sure to check the Boise With Kids Events Calendar for all the details!
Friday, November 4th:
-Taste of Downtown runs through Sunday! Be sure to check out my recommendations for enjoying this special event with kids and make a plan to go before it ends!
-The 71st Annual Ski Swap begins today! This is the largest Ski Swap in the Northwest with more than 20,000 items! Shop today from 1-10pm at Expo Idaho. Admission is $5 for those over 18. This Ski Swap benefits the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation.
-Steelheads vs. Rapid City Rush at 7:10pm at the Idaho Central Arena
Saturday, November 5th:
-The Boise Farmers Market is moving indoors and transforming into BFM Indoor Winter Market, beginning Saturday, November 5th, at 610 8th Street, in the old Foothills School Building. The Indoor Winter Market will be open each Saturday, from 9 a.m. until noon p.m., through Saturday, December 17th, and will host more than 50 local farmers, ranchers and makers.
-Mom Walk Collective is walkin' in Meridian this morning. Meet at Royal Coffee at 9am. More details on their Instagram and Facebook.
-Kids Workshops are back in Home Depot stores the first Saturday of every month from 9-noon.
-There are lots of Holiday Bazaars and Craft Shows popping up! Check the BWK calendar for details!
-Shop the Ski Swap from 10am-9pm
-The 2022 Idaho Veterans Parade is at 10am and begins at the steps of the Capitol with a special opening ceremony. The parade route will start on 8th and Jefferson and go East to 4th where it will turn south, turn west on Bannock and then end at 10th Street. This year they are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the US Air Force.
-BSU plays BYU today at 5pm at Albertson's Stadium
Sunday, November 6th:

-Shop the last day of the Ski Swap from 10am-3pm
