Your Weekend Roundup Dec. 1-3

Happy December! I flipped my calendar over this morning and still just can't believe it's already the end of 2022! Below is a little roundup of some fun, family-friendly events happening this weekend. And don't forget to check out our new Holidays Guide if you're looking to do some holiday shopping, see Santa, find a Christmas tree or enjoy some festive experiences this weekend! Thursday, December 1:

-"First Thursday" in Downtown Boise is a super-sized event with all kinds of fun holiday events and specials. Santa will be at DL Evans Bank and businesses have decked out their windows with fun decor and you can vote on your favorite ones. We highly recommend stopping in the businesses featured on our Holidays Guide! Check out Re-POP Gifts, Rediscovered Books, City Kid Boutique and Baby Blues & Pink Boutique for great items for kids.


-"Sip + Shop" tonight at Coffee + Supply Co. from 5-7pm! Our favorite beef supplier, Bruce Ranch Beef CSA will be there along with some other fun local vendors! The upstairs, Sundry Boutique is a great spot to shop for everyone on your list!


-Come celebrate the holiday season at the Idaho State Museum! The museum is hosting the public over three nights to explore Winter Wonder Village and participate in special programming including festive crafts, music, and activities while enjoying the illuminated historic houses located in Pioneer Village. First Thursday – In collaboration with Downtown Boise Association First Thursday, enjoy complimentary admission to both indoor museum exhibits and outdoor Winter Wonder Village display. Hear holiday music from the Encore Carolers from the Encore Theater Company. Activities include a wintry-themed craft and hot chocolate. Also included is a Pop-Up Shopping Event with local vendors. Concessions will be available for purchase. All ages are welcome!


Friday, December 2nd:

-Do you have tickets to see Peppa Pig Live tonight? Show starts at 6pm at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.


-Free horse drawn carriage rides downtown tonight! Where: Corner of Bannock and 9th When: November 25, 26 and December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 Time: 4-8 p.m. *Rides are first come, first served in accordance with carriage capacity.


-Bown Crossing "Mix & Mingle" tonight. Check out the event for all the details. Lots of great deals from businesses in the area!


-Christmas in Meridian Winter Lights Parade is at 7 pm in downtown Meridian tonight! Come early to watch "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas' projected next to the mainstage at Idaho & Main streets. Grab dinner or a hot cocoa then enjoy the brightly lit floats stroll down main street. Santa will join us and help us light the Community Christmas Tree! Santa will join us and bring his magic to help us light the city Christmas Tree that will shine throughout the season in Generations Plaza.


Saturday, December 3rd:

-There are A LOT of holiday markets and shopping events happening today! Check out the BWK Events Calendar for all the details at boisewithkids.com/events


-The Boise Holiday Parade starts at 10 am and features locally built holiday floats, rad cars, school bands/choirs, and so much more! And let's not forget this years theme, Joy To The World!


-Corbin Maxey will be bringing Santa's reindeer for you to meet from 12pm to 3pm in Fountain Square!



-Eagle Country Christmas: Join us at Eagle Country Christmas on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00pm - 6:00pm. We will have a Holiday Market, Live Music, Activities for Kids, and Photos with Santa. We will be collecting Coats, Socks, and Underclothing for the Boise Rescue Mission.


-Dino Day at the Children's Museum: 1-5pm is Dino Day at the museum. We will have learning stations, crafts, coloring sheets with discount codes to Jurassic Quest at the Idaho Center. Plus a chance to win free tickets to Jurassic Quest! **Free with museum admission**
