Forget the resolutions and intentions and try making a 2023 "to do" list with your family instead! There's so much to do and see and experience in the Treasure Valley that your list might be pages and pages long but creating these "core memories" with our kids is so important! Visit a museum! (And better yet, grab a membership so you can go more than once!)

-Boise With Kids loves the Children's Museum of Idaho, The Discovery Center, The Idaho State Museum and visiting Zoo Idaho. All of them are great for all ages and worth revisiting throughout the whole year.

Get outta town and enjoy a little Idaho vacation!

Beat the Idaho heat at one of our MANY splash pads!

-It might be"dry heat" but man is it HOT. Local families love spending time running through one of the many splash pads listed here.

Hands down one of the BEST events of the year - The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic!

-You DO NOT want to miss this yearly Boise event. Happening at the end of August each year, Boise is delighted with hot air balloons that fill Ann Morrison Park and our skies for a few days.

Be sure to enjoy the Fall colors in the City of Trees while they last!

-Boise's nickname really shows off during the Fall. Check out our list of 5 Favorite Spots to See Fall Colors.

Grab a pumpkin and have a blast at a local Farm this Fall!

-There are so many great Farms that you'll be able to fill your Fall calendar with fun visits to places like Lowe Family Farmstead, Cherry Hill Farms, Shindig Farms, or Flaming Acres.

In the Winter, check out some of the amazing annual light displays!

-Boise With Kids posted a big list in our annual Holidays Guide that included light displays at Scentsy's Headquarters in Meridian, Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell and Idaho Botanical Garden's Winter aGlow in Boise as well as a few others.

Ring in the New Year with your family without staying up until midnight!

Starting in the Spring, I love hitting up Nampa Farmers Market, Dance with the kids to live music, grab a Hotdog or some Nachos, Decorate a Pet Rock and just enjoy being outside. Don't forget all the Fun on Kids Day, and other Fun Events thru out the Season.
