The BEST Splash Pads in the Treasure Valley (2024)

The Treasure Valley has some great options for cooling off in the water this summer! We've compiled a list of fun splash pads that are great for the whole family on the upcoming hot days of summer. Many of the splash pads are close to public pools, picnic areas, and great parks with a nice open field or a play structure or two.  All of them have a variety of water features so the whole family will have a good time during the summer months!

Here's our list of Treasure Valley splash pads and their important info for 2024:


Ann Morrison Park

Address: 1000 S. Americana Blvd., Boise

Notes: "The Ann Morrison Park fountain renovation project is an exciting update to one of the premier features in this beloved Boise park. The aging raised fountain was removed and replaced with a ground level water tunnel that is interactive and accessible for people of all ages and abilities. It’s a high-tech marvel with over 10 miles of electrical wiring routed through more than 240 conduits for operation! It opens May 31, 2023." The park is just off the Boise River Greenbelt.

Borah Park

Address: 801 S. Aurora Dr., Boise

Notes: "The spray pad has various water features for kids of all ages. Open daily from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is no admission fee for the spray pad. It is located in the park north of the main pool entrance."

Comba Park

Address: 2995 N. Five Mile Rd., Boise

Notes: "Splash pad is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial Day to Labor Day. Site includes three ground sprays, a dumping bucket and a 36-inch orb."

Grove Plaza

Address: 827 W Main St, Boise

Notes: "The Grove Plaza splash pad is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year."

Molenaar Splash Pad

Molenaar Park

Address: 2815 S. Maple Grove Rd., Boise

Notes: This new interactive fountain splash pad opened May 24, 2023! It's a great spot to just cool off your feet or hands or go "all out" and run through!

("Honorary Mention") Quinn's pond and Esther Simplot Park

Address: 3206 W Pleasanton Ave, Boise, ID 83702 

Notes: While not a traditional splash pad, it's a great place to splash around. There are a few life jackets available on site but if you plan to go deep or are nervous about kids around the water, be sure to bring your own! According to the website, "Life jackets are strongly recommended for anyone swimming in or paddling at the pond. No lifeguards are on duty."


Settlers Park

Address: 3245 N. Meridian Road, Meridian 

Notes: "Runs approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day, 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (Run dates and times are subject to change based on weather, maintenance issues, etc.)"

Kleiner Park

Address: 1900 N. Records Avenue, Meridian 

Notes: The concession stand is open during the summer season.

Discovery Park

Address: 2121 E. Lake Hazel Road, Meridian

Notes: There is also a sand and water play area at this park.

Guerber Splash Pad

Guerber Park

Address: 2200 Hill Road, Eagle, ID 83616

Notes: "Splash pads are on from 9 am to 9 pm every day between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day."

Reid Merrill Park

Address: 637 E Shore Drive, Eagle, ID 83616

Notes: "Splash pads are on from 9 am to 9 pm every day between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day."

Heritage Park Water Feature

Address: 185 E State Street, Eagle, ID 83616 

Notes: "Heritage Park features a Gazebo and a ground level water feature that is a hit with children in the summertime."


Kuna Splash Pad

Address: 151 W 2nd St, Kuna, ID 83634

Notes: There's a giant bucket feature here!


Orah Brandt Park

Address: 7925 Cherry Lane, Nampa, ID 83687

Notes: "Phase 3 construction is currently in process and is scheduled for completion in summer 2024. Phase 3 will include 6 pickleball courts, a community event area, a diamond baseball/softball field, additional parking, a large picnic shelter, a small shade shelter, bathrooms and an expanded fitness walking trail."

Midway Park Splash Pad

Address: 14309 Midway Road, Nampa, ID 83651

Notes: "The splash pad features a fun farm theme with spraying windmill, tree, and tire! It runs seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, or later if weather conditions stay warm. The splash pad is adjacent to a farm themed playground and an outdoor fitness gym at Midway Park."

Notes: Daily 9AM-9PM "Seating on the Plaza is limited to a first come first serve basis. Although the splash pads are on daily, they are turned off early for most events, unless specifically noted."
