The goal of Boise With Kids has always been to provide families with a "one-stop-shop" online resource for everything kid-related in the Treasure Valley. We want to be the spot you go to whenever you have a kid or family related question. We want to be able to connect you to the local community and to one another so that you can thrive as a family in the Treasure Valley.
Since we launched Boise With Kids back in January 2022, we have found that over and over again our readers are asking for recommendations. Where can they find information on sports programs, signups and schedules for their kids? What are some good options for fun birthday party spots and where can they get a great birthday cake besides Costco? What kinds of local classes and activities are there to get involved in? The list goes on and on.
And so, we launched something new on our website - Boise With Kids Guides.
What we're hoping to do with these new Guides is do the research for families so that they don't have to. To have all the information they need, all in one spot. We hope these Guides will be a comprehensive and informative "roundup" of information that families can refer back to over and over again as new questions and needs arise.
Our first three Guides were published on our website back in August. We're excited that so many local businesses have chosen to feature their offerings on them so that families have great information at their fingertips. Here are the first few Guides and what you'll find on them.
Find a list of options for places that host exciting and memorable birthday parties for kids, options for personalized, handmade cakes and cookies and fun party supplies like incredible balloon decorations and setups for sleepovers or tea parties.
On this Guide there is a plethora of Fall and Winter athletic programming to consider. We list out the pertinent info like registration information, scheduling, locations, pricing and more so that you can get an idea of what your options are.
Programs, Classes and Activities:
Whether you have little ones at home or need an after school option, this Guide has a roundup of great classes, programming and activities for kids of all ages. From nature programs to swim lessons, art classes to gymnastics - there are all kinds of great activities to consider.
Most recently, we published an amazing new Guide to help families enjoy the Fall season around the Treasure Valley. There are SO many local spots offering fun opportunities and events for families throughout the entire Fall season. Check out the Fall Family Fun Guide here and check back frequently. We're adding event information to our website's Events Calendar and updating the Guide with info as it becomes available.
It might seem crazy but we're looking forward a little and starting to put together a Guide to all the fun coming our way over the holidays and Winter season. Help us fill it with all of the amazing local spots and events across the Treasure Valley by sending us as many recommendations as you can think of!
Is there another Guide you'd like to see us publish? We'd love to know what information would help make life a little easier for you and your fam - let us know!
