FIT4MOM Grand Reopening in Boise

Last week I FINALLY got the chance to try out a FIT4MOM "Stroller Strides" class - a fitness class for moms with kids in tow. It's something I've been wanting to do since I learned about FIT4MOM and I'm so glad I finally got to experience it for myself. It's everything I hoped it would be and I'm thrilled to share more about it with Boise With Kids.

FIT4MOM is the nation's largest wellness company designed for moms, by moms. FIT4MOM provides exercise programs, classes, and support for mothers throughout every stage of motherhood - from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. Instructors are specifically trained to offer modifications to each exercise so that the workouts are scaled to each mama's specific level and abilities. The focus of each class is to help moms gain physical strength and confidence in themselves in an incredibly supportive and encouraging environment.

The stroller classes are so awesome for moms with littles. The hour long workouts have you moving around with your stroller and stopping at various locations to do strength and cardio exercises. They are so engaging for both moms and kids that the hour flies by! I didn't realize I was working so hard until the next day when everything hurt (in a good way!). If you're past the point of life behind a stroller or want to work out without kiddos, they have classes for that too! Click here to learn about the different class offerings and which one(s) might be best for you.

Local classes are held in Boise at Julia Davis and Kristen Armstrong Parks and in Meridian at Kleiner Park. There are various classes offered five days a week at different times and locations. Click here to see the weekly schedule.

What I love most about FIT4MOM is that it's so much more than just exercise. It really truly is a community of welcoming and engaged local moms. This community extends beyond exercise classes by offering playgroups for the kids after workouts and community building events like "Moms Night Out" events and service projects. All of the moms in my trial class were super friendly and I was immediately welcomed and accepted - my screeching toddler and all. It is a zero-judgment environment which, to me, as someone who doesn't exercise regularly, is so refreshing. It's a "come as you are" and "do what you can" workout that offers each mama exactly what they need.

If any of this piques your interest I highly recommend RSVPing for the very special "GRAND REOPENING" event happening this coming Thursday, June 16th at 9:30AM at Julia Davis Park. It's going to be a super fun morning with a FREE workout, delicious snacks and coffee from local vendors, a "Tent and Tea Party" playgroup hosted by Opal & Charm, really awesome giveaways and a special 20% off discount of all FIT4MOM plans and passes.

Hope to see you there!
