2024 Scentsy Rock-A-Thon & Fireworks Show
When: September 6
Where: Scentsy's headquarters, Meridian
About: “Scenty’s highly-anticipated 12-hour, community-wide Rock-a-Thon is Friday, Sept. 6, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.. We’re lining up70 rocking chairs on our property along Pine Avenue and Eagle Road. We’re keeping these chairs rocking to raise money for Faces of Hope(https://www.facesofhopeidaho.org/). Donations are in support of one vision: Hope is closer than you think. To cap off a full day of fun, food and fundraising, our annual SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS SHOW lights off at 9 p.m. Parking for the fireworks show is free. Art in the Park

Where: Julia Davis Park, Boise
About: An open-air art festival that’s been happening for over 70 years! There will be more than 200 artists with booths set up throughout Julia Davis Park. Admission is free! There will be live music and food trucks as well.
Warbird Roundup
When: September 7-8, 2024, 8:30AM-5:30PM
Where: Warhawk Air Museum, Nampa
About: “The Warbird Roundup is Idaho’s largest 2-day gathering of historic war planes from across the country. Watch the planes fly, see them up close and meet the pilots. Our knowledgeable announcers and pilots educate the crowd about each of the warbirds including their history, interesting facts, and importance to our country. There will be food trucks, a guest speaker, and visitors get full access to the museum and displays. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Flying is scheduled from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. A schedule will be released closer to the event date. Schedule and warbirds are subject to change and weather permitting.
Meridian's Art Week
When: September 8-14, 2024
Where: Meridian
About: "The City of Meridian will celebrate its 8th annual Meridian Art Week, September 8-14, 2024. The week will feature a variety of events and activities that focus on the integral role art plays in creating vibrancy in our community. Meridian Art Week coincides with National Arts in Education Week, September 8 - 14, 2024. Meridian Art Week is sponsored by the Meridian Arts Commission and features a variety of free or low-cost arts activities in music, literature, performance, and visual arts for Meridian residents and visitors. Indian Creek Festival

About: “Indian Creek Festival began in 2003 as a celebration of when the first section of Indian Creek in downtown Caldwell was uncovered. What was once a small gathering in a parking lot has become a two-day festival that spans blocks in downtown Caldwell. Get ready for a fantastic time at the Indian Creek Festival! Friday night, the Plaza features live music on the ICCU Main Stage by JR and the Stingrays, along with a Classic Car Show in downtown Caldwell. Saturday kicks off bright and early with the Fireman's Breakfast from 7-10 AM, followed by an exotic car show. The day is packed with family-friendly activities: a dancing competition hosted by Dirt Road Dancing, the age-old tradition of Tug-of-War over Indian Creek, and the crowd favorite Cardboard Kayak Race! Star Fall Fest

40th Annual Harvest Classic Fun Run
When: September 14, 2024 Where: Harward Rec Center, Nampa
About: "The 40th Harvest Classic Fun Run features an 8K run or wheelchair race, 2-mile run or walk, 1-mile non-competitive race, food, prizes, entertainment, vendor booths and a school competition. All participants receive a t-shirt, free admission to the Harward Rec Center on race day and a chance to win fantastic prizes in the post-race drawings. Prizes are also awarded for top race finishers. Proceeds benefit youth through the purchase of P.E. equipment for local schools and Nampa Parks and Recreation Department Scholarship Fund."
Potato Days
